UNIRPIH Represents Haiti at the 13th World Forum of Ministers of Youth and Education in South Korea and Expands Strategic Commitments for Haitian Youth
South Korea, July 6, 2025 — The International Unit for the Strengthening and Promotion of Haitian Institutions (UNIRPIH) is actively participating in the 13th World Forum of Ministers of Youth and Education, taking place from July 6 to 13, 2025, in South Korea.
This global forum brings together public officials, youth organization leaders, academics, and policymakers from over 90 countries to discuss key issues related to inclusive education, social innovation, and youth leadership.
As part of this official mission, the UNIRPIH delegation has undertaken several strategic meetings and initiatives:

A meeting with the South Korean Secretary of Foreign Affairs to discuss opportunities for bilateral cooperation in youth development, education, and institutional strengthening.

The signing of a partnership with the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) to organize leadership and “Mind Education” training programs for young Haitian professionals from both the public and private sectors.

An official meeting with the President of Gimcheon University in South Korea, aimed at establishing a cooperation agreement to allow young Haitians to access academic and vocational training programs in South Korea.

A special audience with Pastor Ock Soo Park, founder of IYF and creator of the Mind Education concept. Eager to welcome a Haitian youth delegation to South Korea, Pastor Park reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with UNIRPIH to strengthen the mental and moral capacity of Haitian youth through exchange programs, leadership training, and character development.
The delegation is also taking part in several panels and bilateral meetings focused on:

International advocacy for Haitian youth and national institutions
This historic mission for Haiti strengthens the visibility and positioning of Haitian youth and institutions on the international stage and paves the way for new opportunities in education, diplomacy, and bilateral cooperation.
