About the event
DESCRIPTION
Women's work has become much more complex in Haiti because of poor governance. They need the active participation and support of the diaspora to address some of the priority and unpredictable needs. UNIRPIH intends to reward outstanding Haitian women for their exceptional work for the benefit of their community.
ELIGIBILITY
1) Distinctive leaders in their area of expertise regarding women and girls and a role model;
2) A champion of positive social change to bridge the leadership gap, to create a more equitable society;
3) They must be available to speak on the day of celebration. They must be available to travel to the United Nations in New York from March 11 to 22, 2019.
